The thickness of the steel matters a lot. We offer different choices for lamination thickness. You can get very thin sheets, like 0.23mm, 0.27mm, or 0.30mm. Thinner sheets are better at stopping certain types of energy loss.

We carefully remove any burrs to make sure every piece is smooth. Next, we stack the pieces. We can use methods like interlocking, welding, bonding, or riveting. A special method we use is the step-lap core. We also build mitred core and wound core types. After the core is built, we put the stack through a heating process called stress relief annealing. This process takes away any stress in the steel that was created during cutting. The finished CRGO lamination stack has perfectly lined-up layers. The different parts of the core, called the yoke and limbs, are now ready for the copper windings to be added.
